Gurudongmar Lake (Highest lake in the world and in India)

Snow capped mountains, deep blue sky, barren plateaus, colored hills, shadow of the clouds. This is not just a place ... Its a Dream. This is Gurudongmar Lake at North Sikkim in India. And it's the end of our dream tour. This is our return journey from Gurudongmar Lake at Sikkim in India. The return journeys are always relaxing. Specially if you start your journey at 3 a.m.in the morning. I also wished to have a nap. But when you pass through such a wonderfuland fascinating cold desert it's difficult to close your eyes. Gurudongmar lake is at 17800 feet and we are rapidly climbing down. One thing I would like to mention that when you come here it seems to be a plain land. But actually it is not. During this return journey you will clearly notice the slope of this plateau. And we have left behind us the cold desert and reached the check post of Gorkha Rifle Regiment of Indian Army.
